El Tarasco in Manhattan Beach

The service here is great and the food is delicious. El Tarasco has been one of my favorites since I was a teenager. Kept coming in with my daughter and continue to eat there with my wife. The place is clean and the servers are friendly. A great place to eat with the family or pick up an order to eat at home.

We had been going to the El Tarasco in Lawndale for years. We hadn't been to the MB one yet. It's WAY better. Better service, better food, better atmosphere. This is our new El Tarasco from now on.

Ordered for delivery, they forgot the tortillas so they get a bad review.

The food and service was excellent

I was food poisoned from here and very very sick for 3 days. Something has to change because other people were posting they were sick as well. I won't eat here again but things have to change for those who will.

I like this place! They have parking and lots of seating inside and out. Their prices are totally reasonable and they have a great kid's menu with a variety of food options.

Dry Carnitas Burrito at El Tarasco Number 1 choice for 35 years!Lunches at El Tarasco in El Segundo and Manhattan Beach are the easiest bet in town. Skip the rice and beans and get the tastiest meat, pico de gallo salsa, guacamole and wash it down with Horchata or Orange Bang! Go for the Carnitas Taco if you aren't so hungry.

Awful!! We had already order, but! I walked out to take a phone call and noticed there was a B rating. We orders Nachos and the meat was smelly!!! Nasty!!! BUT beer was very cold.Service was awesome!!! Friendly staff.

I love El Tarasco, but was used to the one on Rosecrans near my home. This one is not quite as good, although they do serve beer/wine.

The service was very quick, and the food was pretty good.

A bit high priced and corn chips weren't that good. Not the same quality I remember from the 80s!

On their menu it has California burrito and carne Asada fries, but they’re not actually available. They charged me for fries and California and then when they made me change the order they wouldn’t refund me the difference between the two orders. It’s about. $5 difference between them, It’s not huge, but they did false advertising and then were rude about having to change it. Don’t go here!

It's good the place definitely needs a pick me up it's outdated.

They have a real issue when it comes to washing the cups. Three times there has been soap in my cup to the point where it over powers the soda in the cup. I switched to styrofoam cups. The food is ok but there is a reason the enchiladas cost nothing on Fridays bc it is gross and for poors.

Enjoyed the outdoor seating and being able to bring my good with me. Pretty standard prices and fare for the area. Good selection of beers.

This is true authentic Mexican food. If that's what you are looking for then this is a must stop while in the Hermosa Beach area.

Margarita had a couple chunks of ice in it but that’s an easy mistake. Our waitress was good and our food was awesome. Four people and four empty plates. Also, the chips and salsa were awesome!

We have a yummy dinner and we're surrounded by the most awesome staff. I assume they are family and they are great. They sent us home with a huge bag of chips and salsa and I ate my left overs for breakfast. My hubby ate his probably an hour after we left. Carne asada plate was outstanding. Meat very juicy and flavorful. Shrimp fajitas we're also great. We will be back again and again.

Good classic family run Mexican restaurant. Very good food and courteous service. Try the Junior Super Deluxe Burrito - life changing.

Quality mexican food.. thwy have a lot of tvs so you can eat and watch whatever game you want. They also have beer!!

Tarasco's is a classic. Fast. Tasty. Pretty affordable. This one is my favorite, for whatever reason. They just seem to have the freshest food and fastest service of the ones I've visited, and, amazingly, they've never messed up a single order-- something I can't say about pretty much any other place I go to so regularly.

Good service overall but not at all impressed with the food. Got the three taco special but it was super greasy, no flavor to the asada steak and the taco sauce was something you'd get at Taco Bell. I've been to different locations, not sure why the menu is so different at each one.

Horrible experiences both times I've visited. Visited on 11/7/2018 around 8pm and the server is terrible at her job there was no one in the place besides us and she didn't attend us till later. She didn't give us all of our drinks we asked her about 4 times for 2 missing drinks and she said she'll get to it but didn't. Complained about one of my friends spilling soda like if it isn't her job to clean it LOL. She didn't give us any knives only forks. The drinks were all watered down. We left not tip either, very unprofessional service with this lady. Also just literally threw every plate at us

One of my favorite casual Mexican restaurants. And they have daily specials 2 to 5 p.m.

They forgot everything and made 3 things wrong for a Postmates. (No tip and took it for free) and they use child labor.
